I remember getting Lee’s postcard in the mail. Lee was a very clever postcard marketer. The way he wrote and arranged his postcard layout always intrigued me. Lee said, “One of my postcards was getting a consistent 27% response rate, meaning at least 27 people responded out of every 100 postcards mailed.” This was truly abnormal. But Lee’s copywriting skills was the reason behind this huge response rate. I knew that if could learn from Lee, I could do it too. Lee used postcards to sell many different types of products. I was amazed to see what he was going to try to sell me next. And I usually bought it. Lee’s sales message on the postcard was very convincing, and I had to find out what he had to offer. Lee capitalized on postcard marketing like no one I’d ever seen.

Is it difficult to mail postcards continuously?

Mindlessly mailing out a pre-determined number of Postcards each day is very difficult for over-analytical people to do - but you must continuously plant seeds to successfully build a huge organization that will pay you lifetime residual income! Is it worth it? Yes!!! Think of yourself as Johnny Appleseed roaming about the land dropping seeds wherever you go (or wherever your postcards go!).                                                                                     

Hear again the ancient parable of the sower: “Behold, a sower went forth to sow, and when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth; and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth; and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them; but others fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold.”                                                                         

Translation for Business Distributors: Behold, a Distributor went forth to sponsor. Some would not listen because of closed minds and false beliefs. Some would not believe because they allowed their doubts to devour their dreams. Some were quick to get involved because they wanted to get rich quick. But when they realized that they couldn’t get something for nothing, they were quick to find fault and soon gave up and fell away. Some accepted the message with good intentions but were discouraged by friends or family or competitors with inferior opportunities. Some were choked with the “busyness” of life instead of focusing and following through on the single greatest “business” opportunity of their lifetime. Finally, some heard the message and chose to believe it. And despite disapproval and disappointment they refused to doubt or to become diverted. And their belief grew into confidence and their confidence grew into conviction and their conviction was rewarded with cash flow - lifetime streams of cash flow. And people were attracted to them like moths to the light. And they brought forth much fruit. And their dollars and their organizations multiplied 30, 60, and even 100 fold.  And may this last be said of you, some day soon! 

Postcard marketing success demands perseverance.

We all know about Thomas Edison and his 10,000 unsuccessful attempts at making a light bulb that worked. When Edison was asked how it felt to have 10,000 failures, he replied: “I didn’t fail. I discovered 10,000 ways a light bulb won’t work.  Success demands perseverance. DESIRE: Without Desire, you will not pesevere. It is by holding onto the image of what you truly desire firmly in your mind, that gives you the power to accomplish impossible feats. When there is no burning desire, you must create it by reprogramming your subconscious mind. AMBITION: You are motivated by your desire, but it is Ambition that propels you to do what has to be done -- to move forward, work extra hours -- to focus your attention and take the necessary steps each and every day. When things seem to go wrong, an ambitious person picks themself up -- and starts all over again. An ambitious person accepts all obstacles and meets the challenge head on.
